A handsome young man drives up to an old cabin by a lake. He is there to set up for a mysterious ceremony, but he's early and no one has arrived yet. Before he can begin to prepare, he is killed by a masked man with an axe. Shortly after, a car full of new pledges arrives at the cabin for their initiation into the Gamma Kappa fraternity. The boys are more than ready to start, but a dark cloud hovers over the proceedings. Rumors are circulating concerning a murderous lumberjack who lives in the woods and the mysterious disappearance of a pledge three years ago. Unfazed by the rumors, the boys press on. They are made to strip down and go for a scavenger hunt in the woods. During the course of the weekend, the pledges begin to disappear, one by one. The lumberjack stalks and kills each of the hunky participants until only two are left. It is revealed that the lumberjack is actually the missing pledge and one of the current members is his little brother. They teamed up to seek revenge on the fraternity, and their plan is almost complete. The lumberjack, in his madness, kills his brother and goes after the last boy. The boy bests the lumberjack with a knife and he's the only one left to tell the tale. When the police arrive, they do not find a lumberjack, only the dead bodies. Did he really kill the lumberjack or was it all just a bad dream?
