Synopsis:
Seven students answer an advertisement to participate in an experiment that explores how the sensation of pain can be eliminated. The sessions are conducted by JB Divay, a hypnotist with a dark past. Her mansion is the former Archway Asylum where her father, Dr. Dimitri conducted "unorthodox" experiments on the criminally insane. JB claims that her methods are far different from her father's, but the mysterious gentleman that is bound and gagged in her study would probably beg to differ. The group is given full access to the mansion and JB encourages them to relax and enjoy until they are "ready" to begin their sessions. Initially, JB's strange fascination with hypnosis and her affinity for clocks and cacti are dismissed by the group as eccentricities. However, the students start to disappear, one by one, and there are strange noises coming from the upstairs area. When only two of the students are left, they discover that JB's motives are not as sinister as they appear to be.
